When reality shatters, which version of yourself survives?

A brilliant young Auror's desperate gamble with forbidden time magic goes catastrophically wrong, hurling her consciousness into an alternate timeline where she wakes in the body of her darkest possible self—a trusted lieutenant to a victorious evil, dark, wizard King, intimate companion to his chief torturer, and architect of a fascist regime built on blood and terror.

Now she must survive in a world where everyone she loved is dead or broken, play the role of a monster who bears her face, and find a way home before she becomes the very darkness she's pretending to be.
